Osteopathy in Times of Covid-19

Osteopathy is still here to help you even if, in these challenging times we cannot meet for hands on work. Until guidelines change and we can begin to safely triage who may safely attend for treatments we have to work differently.

So, I am pleased to be offering both telephone audio and WhatsApp video consultations.

My early experiences with this method of working, indicates that it is really useful. I can get a good idea of the nature of the problem and then give targeted advice about what to do toward getting better. I have also been giving exercise advice both as e-mailed drawings and in person guidance sessions. By using video, I can easily see if it’s being done well and give tips for doing it better.

Just because we have Covid to deal with doesn’t mean that other kinds of aches and pains will vanish – it all still needs attention. There may even be new ones as we start working from home without suitable seating and doing more gardening than ever before.
